(Reference Sire)
Honorable
Fortune
1995 AQHA
X0526533 Black Stallion 15.1 hands
Honorable
Fortune will be greatly Missed.
Tragically, on Mother's Day, 2011... this stallion had
to be Euthanized.
"Honor" was unraced due to complications and injury resulting
from a difficult birth. He was born Very Premature and
Breech and was lucky to survive.
He stood the 2010 Breeding Season here at our ranch, and
his Last Foals are for sale.
His legacy will be through his outstanding foals.

Honorable Fortune was sired by
JET OF HONOR
(Jet Deck
si100 x Quincy Liz si100, by Lightning Bar si95)

Jet Of Honor foaled in 1971 and died in 1996.
JET OF HONOR has sired more NFR Barrel horses
than any other Sire in History!
Honorable Fortune was a
Half-brother to Many outstanding Barrel Horses
including several NFR Qualifiers and competitors and
many Futurity Winners and Open Barrel and Rodeo
performers.
Some of them include: Loto Jet, Jet A Beam (aka
Reba), Band Of Honor (aka Bandy), Devilish Honor, Fun
Jet, Top Gun Honors, and Smidge Of
Honor just to name a few.
Jet A Beam ('Reba') is a
Half sister to Honorable Fortune.
&EmberStewart.jpg)
'Reba' is shown here ridden by
Ember Stewart.
Ember and 'Reba' qualified for the National Finals Rodeo
in 1997 in 14th position in the WPRA standings.
However, 'Reba' suffered and accident and a wire cut to
her leg before the trip to Vegas and was unable to
attend.
Ember borrowed her mother's horse, Band Of Honor, to
compete in the finals.
Jet A Beam ('Reba') also won the reserve Championship
and the Limited Division title at the 1994 World
Championship Barrel Futurity ridden by Martha Wright.
Ember Stewart borrowed a
horse from her mother, Lana Givens, when 'Reba' got
injured before the NFR finals.
That horse is named Band Of Honor (aka 'Bandy')
who is by Jet Of Honor, and a half brother to Honorable
Fortune..
Lana Givens riding 'Bandy' narrowly missed
qualifying for the 1997 NFR Finals standing 24th for the
year.
But, 'Bandy' carried Ember to win two go-rounds in the
1997 NFR Finals and won 5th in the average.

Pictured here is Lana Givens and I think the horse is
Band Of Honor.
Band Of Honor has Life Time Earnings in
excess of $150,000.00.
'FUN JET' ('Funny') is a
half-sister too.
She is a THREE
Time NFR Qualifier.
Ridden by Denise Adams-Fea.

BB French Frost, shown here, is a
half-brother to Honorable Fortune, on the dam's side.

BB French Fortune placed 8th at the 2006 OKC World Show!

I was contacted by Leigh Ann in Texas who owned one of
Honorable Fortune's foals. She sent this picture
of her colt.

Quote from Leigh Ann......
" He was built like a
tank and really could run! I was very impressed. "
